Information Needed for Scheduling Tank Tests

  1. Size of Tank

  2. Last fuel delivery or measured amount of fuel. Examples:
    1. 275 gal - 225 gal or less
    2. 550 gal - 500 gal or less
    3. 1000 gal - 957 gal or less

  3. Direct fill pipe, no elbows to top of tank. Must be able to measure exact amount of fuel in tank with measuring stick for tank test.

  4. Access to house or building to turn off burner, generator, etc. and close valves on lines if existing.

    1. Feed lines
    2. Return lines
    3. Petrometer line, etc.

  5. Name of oil company and phone number.

  6. Testing Agreement must be read and signed prior to tank test.
